Arwen was relieved to be back at school. She missed hanging out with all her friends she had made during school who she couldn't see during the summer. Walking into the second floor library, she looked around at all the books trying to decide what would be the first book she will read this year. She really had not talk to any of the students at the meal.
She knew she this year's school books she could read first but she wanted to find something different in the library. Classes won't start till Monday so she did have the rest of the weekend to get ahead in her reading. She had her hair pulled up into a tight bun on her head. She was wearing her school uniform since it was just easier than packing two sets of clothes. She ran her hand over the book binds softly trying to decide about which one to read. After searching for about 5 minutes she picked one about different charms.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Arwen sat down at a table close to the window so she would have the best light. Once she made herself comfortable she pulled out her book on Charms and started flipping through it. She smiled as she found a charm which allowed a person to form small bandages or splints to help those that were hurt. She knew it was one she really needed to learn. It was a useful spell for anybody who was quite physically active and needed to tend to any minor injury.
As she was reaching down to get her pen and paper, a bright light, far brighter than what was already coming out of the window. Much to her surprise the light didn't go towards somebody else as it had in the auditorium earlier. Instead it struck her dead center of her chest. The light slowly started to cover her whole body before the small pin showed up making her realize that she had been chosen to become one of the few lucky students to become a keeper of the lighthouse. Before she could do anything else she vanished.
