Build me a Mirror Worthy of Mordor

Another pair of mirrors arrived by Owl that morning and Lorccan already had them soaking in the potion. The easiest part of making two enchanted mirrors. Now hopefully he could find a student, one of the seniors maybe who was good at Fabrications and Charms. He really didn't want to have to ask Mr. Woodrick for help, nor the Charms teacher. But he'll ask every single teacher in the school long before he would consider asking his dad for help.
Lorccan was perched on the back of his chair, feet on the 'seat', chewing away on a chicken drumstick as he scanned the slowly filling Cafeteria. He had arrived early so he could watch the older students, seeing if he could spot the best among them. Not that he could tell if they are in any specific classes, but he hoped some would stand out as being brainy and extra magical.
He spotted Elizabeta but given he had already talked to her about joining the Skulls, he didn't think asking her to make him mirrors would be appropriate. Maybe if he did make it in, he will ask her about it. Or talk with the other members. He was confident about getting in. It meant a bit of careful agreeing to help her out in a few tasks, now and down the road but he would do what he could. He didn't tell her he fully intended to spy on the Skulls' faculty sponsor. But that was next weeks worry, for now, he wanted to find somebody to help him with the mirrors.
If everything went according to his plan, he will have the mirrors all ready by the weekend. Whether that plan panes out, remains to be seen.
Revan entered the cafeteria. Looking around, she did not see anybody she would normally sit with. None of her teammates usually ate at this time, Zot was nowhere to be found, nor was the few other people she would tolerate. The only person she actually did relate to having a role in her life was Lorccan O'Brien, who she knew from LARP/Sca club.
However, he was a year younger than she and their normal interaction was quite limited. Surely, however, that could at least allow her to sit at the same table, even if they only exchanged the polite head nod to acknowledge the other's presence. With that in mind, Revan moved towards him, taking a seat a bit away from him to give the younger man space. Giving him the nod, Revan began to butter her roll with the special butter that her father would send from time to time.
When Revan Gemini showed up and sat at the table he was sitting on, he smiled at her. She was quite good playing the LARP games and that was usually the only place Lorccan interacted with her. He returned her nod as he was still chewing meat from the chicken leg he was gnawing on.
"Hello Revan." He greeted her verbally once he didn't have any food in his mouth. "Having a good year?"
"Could be worse. Enjoying most of the classes I am taking this year." Revan responded, taking a bite from her roll. Barely chewing, she swallowed before asking, "How about you? Heard about the family drama. Bad turn, that was. Glad your sister came out safe."
"Well, that's resolved sort of, for now." He replies. Lorccan certainly wasn't about to push it all to the past and move on, not till he had made sure the kidnappers won't try for his sister again down the road. "I worry about Siobhan more than ever but she's safe with the Lighthouse...been working on a way so we can communicate no matter were we are and instantly not through magical paper planes or owls. Not fast enough. I am working on enchanting a pair of mirrors so we can communicate with them. Tricky though, a bit beyond my ability to make."
"You know anybody really good with difficult charms?" Lorccan asks, reaching down and picking up another drumstick form his plate. He already managed to drop a few bits of chicken on the chair between his legs, given the way he was perched on the back of the chair. "Unless you're really good at charms. We aren't in the same class so not sure how good you are in magic. Great in the LARP games but doubt that's your only talent."
